About Our Pastor

From the age of ninteen Pastor Tom or PT, as most parishioners call him, has served in Discipleship of Christ. Starting as volunteer in teaching Sunday school (all ages), children's and youth ministry director, children's church director and pastor, music and choir leadership, he responded the Holy Spirit's call to Pastoral ministry in 1994. He was licensed by the United Methodist Church for pastoral ministry in 1995 and finished his undergrad and graduate level five year Ministry Course of Study  from Candler School of Theology which included studies in Israel. Tom  has served four appointments during his 23 years as a pastor. Two years in a part-time four Belin Charge, six years in the three point Bon Aqua/East Hickman Charge, eleven years at the Hillsboro Leipers Fork church, and  three years here at Lynnville.  He is committed to guiding churches as Churches in Community. Learning, Working, and Serving together in God's Love, Grace, Hope, and Promise for all People. All for the Cause of Christ.  He and Joyce have been married 29 yrs and have five granddaughters.
