VBS - A MIGHTY FORTRESS
Hello Community & Neighbor!
Lynnville United Methodist Church would like to invite your family to our Mighty Fortress Vacation Bible School event Tuesday, June 20th through Friday, June 23rd from 1pm- 4pm with a special family ceremony on Sunday, June 25th at 11am (10am for bible school).
At Mighty Fortress VBS our children learn that in Jesus, the victory is won! Every day we will meet new friends, sing fun songs, make crafts, eat yummy snacks, play awesome games and more while learning the bible, God’s Holy Word, to discover that God is our Mighty Fortress, our Shield, and our Deliverer and discover God’s victory.
Registration is open for children Kindergarten through the 6th grade!
Please print out the Registration form included and mail it back, bring them in ahead of time or send them with your child on the first day (June 20th). Every child must have signed registration forms to participate. If you have more than one child planning to attend please let us know and we can send you forms for each child. We can provide transportation if you need, please call one week in advance so we can plan our bus route! Our bus safely seats 14 children. Safe Sanctuary is a practice of our church and all of our group leaders have been trained.
As part of Mighty Fortress VBS, we will be sharing God’s blessings, love and caring with other children and their families through the Sharing God’s Mighty Word mission project. A special donation will be collected each day to go towards our Mission outreach bus will be used for VBS and all our ministry trips. We will be having a VBS Fun Day at Lynnville Park on Friday, June 23rd beginning 1pm. Please come join us as a family and enjoy lunch, watch the water Color Run (children should wear old clothing that can get wet and colorful), cheer on the Pie Eating Contest contestants, play games and have a blast!
